Grow Agriculture

This is Iowa.  We are blessed with some of the best soil in the world.  We must take advantage of it, and we must protect it.  The health of our topsoil, water, and air is a matter of national security.

We need to support agricultural innovation on our farms, in our agribusinesses, and at our universities.  We need to free farmers to be creative in the products they offer, how they produce them, and how they market them.  Recent Iowa legislation to give small producers more freedom was a great development.

If we can help expand markets for our ag products, we need to do so.

​

Farms are Iowa’s greatest natural resource.  I’ll never take them for granted.
